Sprint Game Ball Of The Week

CINCINNATI, OH - OCTOBER 10: Terrell Owens #81 of the Cincinnati Bengals pulls in a pass to complete a 43-yard touchdown play against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in the first quarter at Paul Brown Stadium on October 10, 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio. (Photo by Jamie Sabau/Getty Images)

This post is sponsered by Sprint.

Since the Bengals lost Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, it's rather hard to actually come up with a player that deserves the game ball. However, we have to pay the bills, considering a majority of my life is consumed with talking about the Cincinnati Bengals. And why not make it a lively discussion about who deserves the game ball? And for those of you that don't think anyone should get the award, I get it. I do. But it must be done.

For me, the choice comes down to two offensive players. Cedric Benson had his most productive game of the year, rushing for 144 yards on 23 attempts with 88 yards rushing coming in the second half.

That being said, I'm handing the award to Terrell Owens, who kicked off the scoring against Tampa Bay with a 43-yard pass and led the team with seven receptions and 102 yards receiving. Since we're only sponsored to hand out the awards once every other week, it only makes sense that we award the offensive player that's recorded 17 receptions for 324 yards receiving in the past two games.

Your turn. Forced to pick one player, who would you award for this week's game ball?

Terrell Owens is garbage

i would hope we made that TD catch he was wide open, anybody could’ve caught that and we’re kissing his butt for it

Yeah, any of us could have caught it.

But none of us could have gotten open on an NFL secondary. Just because it was a simple catch doesn’t mean he didn’t do a good job getting open.
