Jordan Shipley And Jonathan Fanene Returns To Bengals Practice
Jordan Shipley suffered a concussion on a cheap shot nasty hit by T.J. Ward against the Cleveland Browns that kept him out against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
So far this season, Shipley's 15 receptions and 190 yards receiving ranks third among all wide receiver rookies in the NFL this year. Of his 15 catches, Shipley has converted 12 for a first down, which leads all wide receiver rookies. Seven wide receivers were drafted above Shipley during this year's NFL Draft.
After taking Sunday off, Shipley returned to the practice field on Wednesday, along with defensive lineman Jonathan Fanene, who missed the past four games due to a hamstring injury. The team is breaking for the weekend and won't resume practices until Monday.

We sure need
both those players. Shipley is vital, and Fanene needs to pick up the slack that Odom is leaving us. He’d probably do better than Odom at this point in time.
cheap shot / nasty hit
If the NFL really wants to deal with this shit, then they need to start suspending players for the duration of the time missed by the hit player (maybe with a three game max) on plays where there is no cause for it, this being one. The ball was clearly not caught and all the receiver was doing was coming down.
