Jordan Shipley suffered a concussion on a
cheap shot nasty hit by T.J. Ward against the Cleveland Browns that kept him out against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
So far this season, Shipley's 15 receptions and 190 yards receiving ranks third among all wide receiver rookies in the NFL this year. Of his 15 catches, Shipley has converted 12 for a first down, which leads all wide receiver rookies. Seven wide receivers were drafted above Shipley during this year's NFL Draft.
After taking Sunday off, Shipley returned to the practice field on Wednesday, along with defensive lineman Jonathan Fanene, who missed the past four games due to a hamstring injury. The team is breaking for the weekend and won't resume practices until Monday.
