Lapham rips into Chad and TO

I don't get to listen to the Bengals Line when it is live, so I catch it during the week at work. Listening to hour three (labelled as "Lance and Lap take your calls on the game and who is more at fault, Carson or Bratkowski?"), the early part is Lapham giving a good go at TO and Chad for being marketeers instead of football players and then for Chad for being the (my paraphrase) "least disciplined route runner" over his career.
Interesting stuff.

But yet T.O is the leading receiver and on pace for over 1400 yards and 10 td's, 5th in the NFL with 31 grabs, 476 yds, 2 TD's

Cant put the blame on Batman and Robin, just imagine if T.O. wasn’t here how bad Palmer would be this year. Dwell on that for a bit.

They do self promote for their life after football, but that is what any good business man is supposed to do, just remember this is the NFL and it’s a business.

Bottom line is T.O. and Ocho are not the problem

Maybe Chad is wanting TO

to get all the catches early in the season, so it would be easier for him to hit his incentive marks in his contract. Therefore TO gets more throws to him. I doubt this is the case, but still a possibility. TO did say he was basically playing for free this year and Chad is backing him up.

I’ll take Lap’s word, since he expressly did not excuse Palmer, over some internet guy who turns every comment into an anti-Palmer dispatch.

“derision” isn’t fancy language. I’m not going to apologize for using regular English. I’m surprised, honestly, that you are unfamiliar with it. You post here with some regularity and with a reasonable vocabulary, I would have thought that would be just a regular word.

I have a college education so no i’m not stupid, and their is some words that you use that I just don’t know what they mean. So maybe now you understand how people can misunderstand what you say

I'm not putting full blame on Palmer, i'm not that ignorant of football, 11 guys out there

but the Tampa Game he deserves most of the blame, in my opinion. I’m just sick of people making excuses for him (not saying you are)

but I agree he is a significant problem in that game

(although I disagree on the 85-90)
and I’m not “excusing” him when I say that the WR’s need to run routes better as well as him hitting them better and that they need to catch the f’ing ball when he hits them in the hands or the numbers

Thats the way I took it that you were putting the blame on everybody but Palmer

And you took it as if I was putting the full blame on Palmer, but we can agree to disagree about the 85-90% thing I think he pretty much cost us that game himself

And the one that hit off Chad’s hands, yes he should have caught it, if it touches your hands you can catch it.

And on Palmer, I want him to do good, I want him to win us super bowls, i’m just saying his play the last half of last season and so far this season would point to the fact that he is not going to be what we expect of him

if you actually read and commented on ALL of my comments you might actually know how I really feel about Palmer, instead you just read what you want and try to make me out as a Palmer Hater, get your facts straight and get back at me, until then don’t comment on my posts please unless you have something to say that is relevant to the Bengals
