Johnathan Joseph And Dunta Robinson Listed As Questionable: Roy Williams And Brian Leonard Ruled Out

CINCINNATI, OH - OCTOBER 10: Johnathan Joseph #22 of the Cincinnati Bengals breaks up a pass intended for Sammie Stroughter #18 of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Paul Brown Stadium on October 10, 2010 in Cincinnati, Ohio. (Photo by Jamie Sabau/Getty Images)

Even though Johnathan Joseph dressed on Friday and practiced, he's listed as questionable heading into Sunday's game against the Atlanta Falcons. If Joseph, who injured his ankle against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, can't go, Adam Jones would likely start opposite of Leon Hall with Morgan Trent filling in at nickel. It does appear that he has a chance; though who knows how effective he'd be or even how many snaps he'll be able to take.

On the other hand, Brian Leonard missed his third straight practice, working on the sidelines all week according to Geoff Hobson. With Leonard being ruled out, expect Cedric Peerman to be activated for only the third time this year after filling in for Leonard during the season's first two games. Like Leonard, Williams missed practice all week and listed as out against the Falcons. This will be the second game Williams will miss.

With Williams out, Tom Nelson was activated to the team's 53-man roster.

Falcons cornerback Dunta Robinson is also listed as questionable.

Roy Williams

Is he ever going to be healthy for a whole season? He has good stats when he can play but hasn’t he been injured more than playing?? Same as last year??He seems too brittle after nine seasons….

Time

for him to be released after being put on IR. I like the guy and think he has some left in the tank, just can’t stay healthy and we don’t need a queestion mark at safety. I’d like to give Reggie Nelson some more reps and a chance at FS while moving Crocker over to SS.

Dunta Robinson?

are they seriously thinking about playing him this week, or just trying to get us to gameplan like he’s playing…..that was a gnarly hit, i can’t imagine it’d be too smart for him to suit back up so soon.

He hasn’t been medically cleared yet, so odds are astronomically low that he plays.

we will NOT have

Dunta Robinson (hasnt practiced all week)
Sean Weatherspoon (if you didnt know already he’s our rookie LB and has already made a huge impact)
Justin Peele (backup TE our 4-6 weeks)
