The Colts. And the Saints should be as well if it weren't for some last second heroics. I hear all this talk about how the season is doomed because we are not going to be 4-1 heading into the bye. Why? Because of the Colts and Saints? They aren't untouchable. The Colts lost to the Jags and our former 4th or 5th string CB had a lot to do with it. The Saints barely beat the Panthers, at least we didn't need a last second field goal.
People need to stop whining. What I saw today was an offense that finally got clicking (thank god), a defense that slacked a little, and a very good 0-3 team playing at home that was just dying for a win. The Bengals can put down the Colts and Saints. And the Falcons. And the Ravens again. And the Steelers. And a revenge game against the Browns. The season is far from over, please stop acting like it is.
If the players use this as motivation, and the offense carries this momentum into the second half of the season, the Bengals can do big things.
