This is it, tomorrow is everything

I'm not going to go on about how big of a Bengal fan I am because I could go on for days, but I have not missed a single game in over 5 years. This year has been the most disappointing, embarrassing, pathetic, and aggravating season I have seen since 1998 when we went 3-13, only winning one game at home with Corey Dillon at back.

Tomorrow  is the day where the Cincinnati Bengals will show the nation, no, just it's fans, that they either want to make a playoff run or just sit back and count the dough. They owe it to us, to me and you. I know there are many of you guys out there just like me who have been with the Bengals forever and always stood behind them, we can't switch to another team if we tried. But tomorrow is the make or break game.

If we don't win tomorrow the season is over. I don't care what anybody says, if we can't beat the Dolphins tomorrow then we simply can't go undefeated the rest of the season. Especially after losing to the, (it's very hard to say this), the Browns and the Buccaneers. I know we always play to our opponents advantage, but with all the stupid mistakes we have been making this year it just can't be done against teams like the Jets, Steelers, Colts, and the Saints. If the Bengals really want to make it to the Super Bowl, they have to win from here on out, they have to, maybe excluding ONE game, but that one game can't be tomorrow.

They will either prove to us that they are in it to win it, like I said before, I haven't missed a Bengal game in over 5 years but if we are 2-5 tomorrow night due to the Dolphins I will not spend anymore money on watching this team put up a sh*tty performance. I now live down in FL and the only way I can watch them play is going out to bars, and I am fed up with spending 30 bucks to see our team completely embarrass me every week.

This off season they gave us hope, they got Owens (who I don't necessarily want on our team but oh well), Gibril Wilson, Pacman Jones, Jordan Shipley, Jermaine Gresham, and all that good stuff. We have the best cornerback pair in the league, and in my opinion, Mike Zimmer is the best possible man for our defensive squad. They have all the weapons possible but they just don't have enough desire, if any at all, and BB just can't call a good play if his life depended on it. I don't know what we are doing at practice but it isn't working on teamwork. Carson has to step up and take control of his team, by this time he should not give a rats ass about what the upper arms say, he needs to pull no huddles and call the shots when the game is on the line.

I would take a bullet for this team to win the Super Bowl, they mean everything to me. I wait passionately until the day I can finally move to Cincinnati and open my bar for all you fellow fans. In about 8 years I am going to open the perfect Bengal Bar and bring Cincinnati together, making my bar successful and watching the Bengals finally make it to the Super Bowl is what I think about every 5 minutes of each and every day. I bleed Black and Orange, everything I do is dedicated to Cincinnati. I really hope Marvin and his squad shuts everybody in the nation up tomorrow and start the winning streak for the rest of the season. I'm ready for the nation to see us as a threat like we were back in 05'. It's going to happen, I have faith, and I know you guys do as well. I would give everything I had to be at the game tomorrow and lose my voice as we squish the fish.

The time to win is now, I'm ready to raise my hand in the air and scream Who-Dey with pride. I'm ready to see Cedric Benson run the ball into the endzone, and I'm ready to see our team actually score a few touch downs and not field goals. I get goosebumps every time I just put my jersey on, and tomorrow our team will give us new hope for another playoff race.

Everyone else is with me right? I'm not the only one with these thoughts?

I can't wait to come together in the year 2020 in my bar and scream WHO-DEY with you all. Go Bengals!

I think this season has been especially dissapointing because...

We could fairly easily be 5-1. A couple of calls go our way against the Browns, we win, TO doesn’t step out against the Falcons, we win, Ball doesn’t ricochet of Ochocincos hands… we probably win.

The good news is that we’ve lost those three games by an average of 4.3 points. The bad news… we lost those three games

Allow me tk tweak your reasons for not being 5-1

A couple of calls go our way in the Browns game? I say it’s never the refs fault for losing a game.
T.O. doesn’t step out against the Falcons? I say how about throwing an accurate pass for once Carson Palmer.
Ball doesn’t ricochet off of OchoCinco? I say terrible play calling by the coaches and forced throw by Carson Busto Palmer…probably win.

And you don't want Owens on our team because....

He’s our leading receiver? Enlighten me.

He's a

whiney b*tch, he drops easy catches, and last week he stepp’d out of bounds on a clutch catch. I could have made that catch, he is all about the fame, he could care less if the Bengals go 2-14 and that’s the absolute truth.

Yet he is having one having one hell of a seaons!

Our defence is our probles we can’t stop anyone if we tried.
The passing game is a head of where every one thought it would be and
the runing game is not (even with 2 lost balls he still is my back)
WE SIGNED AB BEFORE TO AND NOW LOOK

He makes our team look bad

Nobody in the nation likes T.O, so who gives a shit if he is doing semi ok, it’s obviously not helping our season out.

The Cleveland loss was placing the body in the coffin. The TB loss was the final nail on the coffin. The coffin was laid to rest against Atlanta. Losing to Miami will be the equivalent of shoveling dirt on top. I share your dissapointment and pain, but with Pittsburgh and Baltimore playing the way they are this year, I can’t possibly imagine us coming back this year.

Here’s the problem; with Mike Brown focusing on high profile, skilled position players, he neglected the important part – the lines. Beyond Whitworth and Peko, no other exceptional linemen. Mike Brown isn’t necessarily stupid. He knows he can make much more money with guys like TO, Ocho, Benson, and Palmer on his team through Jersey sales and other revenue crap due to better fan popularity over guys like Whitworth and Peko. You mention 1998 with Corey Dillon. Yea, we had talented guys like him, Carl Pickens, Darney Scott who made MB a ton of money, but who was manning our offensive and defensive lines? Other than Willie Anderson, name one solid performer.

And not only does he not really focus that much, financially on the lines, but he severely lacks the scouting to pick out decent linemen (beyond the first couple rounds) which is much harder than identifying skilled players. This is why every year we compare our skilled players, who are often better than our AFCN counterparts, but we still get our asses kicked because our linemen suck.

1989 superbowl, we had linemen like Munoz, Montoya, Krumrie, Skow, Grant, Buck. 2005, we had Willie, Steinbach, Braham, Bobbie Williams, Levi. This year, 3/5th of our starting o-line has been undrafted guys. It’s no coincidence.

THAT'S A TOUGH ONE

Let Mike Goff go?
Fucking K.Gregg
We got laugh at for L. JOnes but he played well when he’s not hurt.
With out repeating my self i will not even try trashing our scouting (one monkey with a beta player in a broom closet)

Well said.

Thinking playoffs is probably being too hopeful, but I still want them to play hard and show that they still have some fight left.

You know what?

We’re 3 games back right now and we get Pittsburgh two times. If this team wakes up, I think they can snap off a streak and at least be in the hunt around the end of the year.

I hope I'm there at that bar on its opening day.

I hope I’m there with you celebrating your victory in life. I hope you and I both can celebrate this team winning its first Super Bowl within this decade and I certainly hope we can both watch it. Is this year the year to do it? Sure, why the hell not? It’d be damn near a miracle, but y’know, since when do the Bengals not need miracles to perform well?

Opening day you are there man

I plan to open it during August of 2020, can’t wait for sundays inside it. Just cause you were cool and said something about my bar your first beer is free my friend

Hell yes.

I’ll be able to get into a bar/drink by 2020.

Is your special going to be the "Hu-Dey" beer?

I’ve actually never had one, but that would be funny in your bar.
