Okay, so honestly, I came into this game focusing on the line to see how their play was, particularly Andre Smith. After keying on Andre Smith in the first quarter, I thought he did a very good job - even in pass blocking. So then I shifted over to Livings, thinking maybe he was the frangible point of the line. But every time I focused on him, he was blocking his guy. Whitworth of course is Whitworth. Bobbie Williams, even at his age, was holding up on his end. And Cook didn't seem to give up much.
So, I'm wondering if maybe the offensive line really is our weakness? Earlier with Roland, they were definitely struggling, but with Andre now apparently beginning to pan out, does anyone see any other weak points on the line we need to fix? And is Livings possibly an adequate guard? I'm almost thinking the next o-linemen we need to replace is Williams and not Livings or Cook.
I'm now thinking at least 3 - if not all - of our top four draft picks should now be defensive players, specifically in the box.
Any thoughts? This is killing me because for weeks I, personally, have been complaining about the offensive line and blaming them.
