"Let me look you in the eyes.
"We’re just terrible. That’s just plain and simple. When I say we, that’s me included," he said. "We find ways to lose the game. You would think that, having a lead going into halftime, we could capitalize and build off of that. We may go 2-14 at the rate we’re playing.
"I don’t blame the fans for booing us," Owens said. "I don’t blame people for not wanting to come and see the performance we’ve put up the last six ballgames. I don’t blame them."

At least someone on this team hates losing...
and has the balls to come out and say it. All other guys seem to be content with receiving a paycheck, whether it be winning or losing.

That's what I've been saying about TO for a while.
He may not be a perfect professional all the time but he hates losing. You can see it when we get down. He gets madder than anyone and steps up his level of play.
Actually, most of the times when he starts being a brat , it’s because he’s upset that his teammates aren’t as mad about losing as him and that upsets him.
Win a ring without the king! Cavs=2011 champs?
something i learned in 2010
I actually like TO. as a bengal he’s been something positive in 2010. like jim said, “at least someone on this team hates losing.” TO appears just as annoyed with the losing and the lack of heart as the rest of us.
i’m going to miss him in 2011. which is something i never expected to say.

TO was probably expected to blame everyone but himself
But he didnt,he has been accountable all year and when he answers questions he gives you his feeling at the time, none of the robotic cliche driven shite the rest spew for the most part.
The fact Marvin Lewis has a job this morning speaks volumes about the organization.

glad he said it
it’s funny how we can come out and look like the team we all thought they’d be…then halftime hits, they make adjustments, we dont make any adjustments and might as well have not come out of the locker room….each week I think to myself, well it can’t possibly get worse, it can’t possibly be more embarrasing, and i can’t possibly be more dissapointed….and then they shock me again
Voice of Reason
How strange it is that, of all people, TO is the one who has made sense this season. He’s played harder than anyone, takes the losses harder than seemingly anyone, and constantly speaks the truth about this team.
Gotta be honest, I never would have expected that out of him. When we signed him, I considered it a mercenary effort, a hired gun brought in to kick start the offense and bring some media attention, sell some jerseys. Now, I really want him to stick around. Maybe we should get rid of everyone else…haha!
Starting with Mike Brown.
