Carson Palmer Has His Foot In A Boot: Says He'll Play Against The Jets, Sam I Am
Carson Palmer's little brother, Jordan, entered last week's game completing three passes for 18 yards during the final minutes with the Bengals dealing with an unexpected 18-point deficit against the Buffalo Bills. It was the first time that Jordan completed a pass in a regular season game since 2008 when he replaced Ryan Fitzpatrick during the team's super-competitive 35-3 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on December 7.
The question was asked on Tuesday if Jordan replaced Carson Palmer due to an injury. Along with missing Monday and Tuesday's practice this week with a foot injury, Carson Palmer is reportedly in a boot for precautionary reasons. He said no.
"Just a sore foot and they just stick you in the boot just to be cautious," he said.
Joe Reedy summarizes Carson Palmer's recent string of injuries this year.
Over the past four weeks, Palmer has missed practice due to an injured hip, sore throwing shoulder and now the foot.
Before some of you start daydreaming of the day that Jordan Palmer or Dan LeFevour will start, Carson Palmer and Marvin Lewis have both said that Carson is starting this Thursday against the New York Jets.

hahaha
and when the Medical staff has misdiagnosed again and this injury happens to be significant and they need to put Carson on IR, I wonder if Mikey the moron will see the light.
This is Carson we are talking about. Mikey the morons golden child.

I’m kind of in, “It wouldn’t surprise me” mode. :)

Shut him down.
Play Little Palmer in the first half and LeFevour in the second half the rest of the way. See what we’ve got for next year, because Carson’s done with this team. Trade him (if you can) and see what you can get. If nothing, cut him loose.
It’s time to move on. Don’t let it go until the end of the season before you see whether we need to draft a quarterback in the first round next year and still not have the two QB’s you have on the roster assessed while playing real football.
That will not happen
Carson is all protected from any trades and cuts. He’s untouchable, ask Mikey the moron.
RE:
Aside from Mikey, the contract is what protects Palmer the most.

The trade deadline was Week 6.
I assume you meant an offseason trade?
Win a ring without the king! Cavs=2011 champs?
yeah
Get rid of Carson…then you have to get rid of mini-carson and we have Lefevour and then whoever we waste a QB pick on in the draft….do none of you Carson haters not remember our history of drafting, specifically drafting QB’s? If it was that easy to pick up a franchise QB, there would be 32 teams that have one
I'd say put one of the backups in with CP in uniform.
Maybe they’ll work out – if not, Carson can come in. Sure would give him some rest.
