Tiger Beat: Who's Hot and Who's Not

WHO'S TERRIBLE: (they all need to be gone within the next year)

Marvin Lewis can't manage the game. He wastes timeouts and challenges and squanders scoring opportunities.

Carson Palmer thinks he's playing madden and 'deciphers' the coverage before every snap, then throws into triple coverage after they easily fool him.

Dennis Roland is the worst right tackle ever, he can't block anyone or even pick the correct pass-rusher to be manhandled by.

Quan Cosby has Keiwan Ratliff syndrome. Hesitate... Hesitate... Now Sideways

Leon Hall is ridiculously inconsistent. Every other play he's six yards out of position. How many times has he been targeted this year to get those four picks, I wonder.

Bob Bratkowski is a prick.

Tom Nelson, what can he do? Can't tackle. Can't cover. Can't contain.

Robert Geathers is great at engaging the blocker for as long as possible yet still missing every opportunity to seal the edge or contain the quarterback.

Dhani Jones jumps on every fake hand-off the offense runs.

T.O. and Cedric Benson can't concentrate for an entire game. A fumble here, a dropped pass there, who's counting.

WHO'S FRUSTRATING:

Domata Peko often gets blown off the line and only makes plays when a bigger body is next to him (Pat Sims)

Bernard Scott usually runs directly into the area of the field with the heaviest traffic during kick-offs

Bobbie Williams and Andrew Whitworth draw too many penalties and false starts given their experience.

Kyle Cook completely misses an assignment or fails to slide the protection a couple times a game.

Rey Maualuga religiously over pursues the run.

Chinedum Ndukwe has a questionable degree of control over his body

WHO'S A PART OF THE SOLUTION, INSTEAD OF THE PROBLEM:

Rivers,  Joseph,  Shipley,  Atkins,  Dunlap,  Gresham,  Sims,  M.Johnson,  A.Jones,  and Trent.

Finally someone talking sense about Leon Hall

Been saying it since last year. The guy is overrated.

I'd put Rivers in the frustrating category

to be honest, I'm not certain what to think of RIvers

he’s more of a coverage LB, so I guess it’s a good thing if I’m not seeing too much of him. But at the same time, I never seem to see him make any big plays.

Trent in the "part of the solution" category?

If you didn’t have Dhani and Leon in the terrible category I’d think you were a Michigan fan.

I think Leon should be in the frustrating category if anything. He’s made some huge plays. Also, I think Huber should make the frustrating category. He’s a decent punter but he shanks some badly when we really need a good punt (like the one off the side of his foot when he was punting from his own end zone.)

Leon Hall is the alexact opposite if Revis Island

You put any receiver in Hall island and he’ll have the vacation of a lifetime!

I do agree on Huber, what the he’ll happened to him? Has been bengalized?

If we can get Marvin Austin in the 3rd, that pick would be a no brainer in my book.

Could you imagine how nasty that defensive line would be?

I think people are making too much ot of Cosby

From what I saw, the guy had absolutely 0 blocks in front of him on punt returns. Every time he was fielding a punt there were two jets running down the field with two slow Bengals trailing a yard behind. If anything, I just fault him trying to do to much.

This is our year!

He should have let them go into the end zone.q
