Is it time to Fire Marvin and let Zimmer act as interim head coach for the rest of 2010?
Consider, the Bengals are on an eight game slide. A fan could suggest the last time the Cincinnati Bengals took the field on game day the date was September 26th, 2010. Toss in their bye week and it appears the Bengals have taken 9 weeks off in 2010 season.
After last night's Jets game, the questions surrounding Marvin Lewis become, has he lost the locker room? How much of 2010's slide rests with the coaching staff? Is Lewis capable of guiding this team to back to back winning seasons, playoff appearances, or even a playoff win?
Lastly, if Marvin is not coming back in 2011, he failed to accept a contract extension the last time Brown offered one, unless he was given more control over the day to day operations. What are the odds Mike Brown will offer Lewis a contract after the way 2010 played out for the Bengals?
