Jermaine Gresham Misses Practice With A Death In The Family
Jermaine Gresham was drafted this year in the first round to bring the Bengals a viable threat at tight end. With 47 receptions this year and three touchdowns, he's done just that with the growth we've seen as the season has dragged on. Reggie Kelly said during Mo Egger's show on ESPN's 1530 Homer that his run blocking is improving.
However, Gresham hasn't been to practice this week.
According to Geoff Hobson, the Bengals rookie tight end has been out of town following the death of his grandmother on Monday. There's no word if he'll return in time to practice on Friday. Historically speaking during the Marvin Lewis era, if players miss all three practices throughout the week, they're very unlikely to play. We know in the grand scheme of things that football is trivial, so we hope the best for Gresham and his family.
