Rico Murray Heading to IR; Chris Pressley Promoted To 53-Man Roster
The Bengals announced that Rico Murray is the latest victim to be placed on the team's Injured Reserve list on Friday. Murray marks the 14th player on IR this year, ranked behind only the Indianapolis Colts who have sent 16 players to the season-ending list. Murray is now the fifth defensive back and ninth defensive player placed on IR since October 26.
It's not all bad.
The former ball of awesome fury Chris Pressley will finally make the Bengals 53-man roster. Pressley, chronicled during last year's Hard Knocks storyline of competing fullbacks, signed to the team's practice squad before Tampa Bay signed him away to their 53-man roster last year in late October. Pressley finally returned to Cincinnati after the Buccaneers released him and the Bengals re-signed him to the practice squad.
Now we can finally welcome Pressley to the 53-man roster, only 15 months later than hoped.

So now we're a power run team with a FB? Cool!
Well, let’s hope he dresses and plays. Even starts. See what the kid’s got.
Indeed!

Where does this leave our CB crew?
I believe that makes Johnathan Wade the NB. And that’s assuming JJ stays healthy.
Oh well, it doesn’t matter.
