Brian Leonard

With this season being over and basically the next four games are for draft position i got thinking. Peyton Hillis has a very similar body type and running style as Brian Leonard. I say give him 12-15 carries a game the next month and see what he can do what can it hurt. In his only start in his career he had 100+ yards against the Cardinals as a member of the Rams. Going back to the Hillis comparison i looked at their combine numbers

Hillis:

6 ft ¾ * in 250 * lb 4.58 ** s 1.59 * s 2.68 * s 4.24 ** s 7.15 * s 35" ** in 9 ft 9 * in 39 rep 17

Leonard:

6 ft 1½ in 226 lb 4.49 s 1.54 s 2.60 s 4.22 s 6.88 s 34½ in 10 ft 2 in 28 rep

No i know they arent exactly the same and some of Hillis numbers are better in the strength catagories but Leonard has a little more speed

Anyone think that they should give him a chance. Only game he started he got 100 yards i think he could be good.

If not start maybe just split. Hes a much different runner then the guys ahead of him and would change the way defenses play.
