Video Of Terrell Owens' Comments On The T.Ocho Show On Versus

During Tuesday's T.Ocho show, Terrell Owens made a couple of comments that caused a minor uproar. And by minor, we really mean everyone else is wondering "when will Owens ever learn." And by minor, we really mean that the national media is focusing on the history of the player, and not the context of his comments. Among Bengals fans, his comments only mirrored frustration. For example, ask any Bengals fan what they think of Owens' comments and a majority will likely say, "he's right".

Owens said:

"I think there is underachieving you know from the top down," Owens said. "You start off with the owner, you start off with the coaches and obviously we as players. We are a product of what the coaches are doing, are coaching us throughout the course of the week. Of course we have to go out there and play the game but in order for us to do what we’re allowed to do at the best of our ability the coaches have to put the players in the best position."

Courtesy of Versus, here's video of the segment of Owens' comments.

Good Terrell or Evil Terrell

I’ve got to hand it to T.O. He’s matured a bit, and you can call it how you want to, but the guy has produced. I’m sure there’s a bit of a perception that he’s not good for the locker room. However, if you’re a Bengals fan, you know the deal. The quarterback just goes through the motions and plays great when he wants to (I still can’t understand or figure out the enigma that is Carson Palmer). That’s how I see it from 2004 until now. I think the franchise is run like a truck stop diner. The food is the same food everyone gets, but when you walk in the place you wonder if it’s safe to eat there. With at least 100 – 150 miles between you and the next NFL franchise you stop and have a bite.
