Chad Ochocinco And Terrell Owens Expected To Play Sunday Against Cleveland

On Thursday, Chad Ochocinco tweeted that he had to have his foot examined because his left foot was completely jacked up. Joe Reedy updated that Ochocinco said, "he has bone spurs." Chad was limited during Wednesday's practice and missed Thursday's session before returning on Friday. Terrell Owens also missed Wednesday's practice with a knee injury.

Marvin Lewis expects both Ochocinco and Owens to play against the Browns this Sunday.

The question is: Would you rather the Bengals try to win Sunday's game with Ochocinco and Owens? Or would you rather have their younger players, like Jordan Shipley, Jerome Simpson, Andre Caldwell, Jermaine Gresham and Chase Coffman being the team's weapons on offense?

Also in injury news, Jonathan Wade, the replacement starting cornerback that replaced the ailing Johnathan Joseph, missed all three practices this week.

Activate Simpson

Chad and/or T.O. are injured. He’s the obvious flanker. Caldwell and Cosby are the poor man’s Shipley. If Simpson’s not the man, drop him and have a look at Briscoe on the active roster.

Coffman has at least seen action. He’s got to be given a chance instead of dump offs to Reggie Kelly (all respect to Reggie).

Briscoe is already on the bucs roster so he is not even an option anymore. The funny thing is if the coaches ever wanted to bench owens because of his mouth, they could now and blame it on injury. If there was ever a game to get simpson on the field it would be now against the browns. Lewis wont play the young guys though because wont be back and wants as many wins as possible on his record.

Yep...Briscoe gone, apologies...

…just surprised the cheap franchise that exists hasn’t looked more into practice squads in general to look for cheaper options than Simpson, not that their would be any scouting.

Big receiver wanted. Caldwell and Cosby don’t fit

...

Palmer mode (big target).

Mind you, Palmer may not fit the mode either.

I would expect more from Coffman than Simpson on Sunday (if only because he has been active and on special teams as well as some snaps on offense). Test the Browns LBs, Brat!

If they Bench T.O.

it’d be because of the incentives in his contract. That wouldn’t sit well with his agent/lawyers.
