Carson Palmer is NOT going anywhere like It or not (yes Jimbasa I'm talking to you) we're not drafting a QB in the first or second round, It's pretty simple. Carson Palmer is Mike Browns biggest investment ever. Did you catch that last word EVER! You know what that means? He has a gigantic man crush on the guy. It's such a bad crush he signed and promoted his little brother to back him up. If history goes to show us anything Mikey typically doesn't swallow the apple (only hot dogs) and admit he made a mistake.(whether or not Carsons contract was a mistake is a different debate) On top of that he's not one to cut a major investment once that investment has proved to be a success at some point.(see Chad Ochocinco crying to leave Cincinnati in 2008) Like it or not the guy has had 2 playoff appearances and 2 Pro-Bowl appearances. I've been down on Palmer a lot myself this year and I've been really confused on how to feel about his performances. That doesn't change the fact that again this is Mikey's boy.
To Mike Brown this is the man. Did you guys know he's on pace for a 4,000 yard season? He's thrown 21 touchdowns this year? Sure he's had 18 interceptions and a lot of them were for 6 points but that doesn't change the fact that on paper he looks pretty solid this year besides his QB rating. You can argue and I know a lot of you will (yes Jimbasa I'm talking to you) that these numbers are inflated because of garbage time and prevent defenses and blah blah blah. You're wasting your breath. The Patriots game is a perfect example of those arguments. I counter with "did you watch them play the Jets on Monday Night Football?" This is a team that doesn't put the breaks on for ANYONE! I hate to break your poor souls but you can forget about Luck and forget about Newton because Carson Palmer isn't going anywhere like it or not. (Tru tell'em whats up partna!)
