Sunday Morning Bloody Mary: Chad Ochocinco Not Expected To Play Against San Diego
This isn't the Freezer Bowl, where the Bengals beat San Diego 27-7 in temperatures nearing ten blow zero with a sustained wind that made it feel like around 50 below zero. However, Cincinnati will host the San Diego Chargers with a wind chill around the mid-teens and flurries falling throughout the game. With the cold temperatures and slightly moderate winds, San Diego's passing game is neutralized and the Chargers are forced to feel the AFC North bruising.
Also, according to Joe Reedy, Cincinnati's Chad Ochocinco is likely a "no-go" after "Ochocinco said in a conversation with Landon Donovan that he wasn’t going to be active for today’s game against San Diego and hinted that offseason surgery on his left ankle might be moved up."
With Chad not playing, there's always the possibility that the ten-year run of Ochocinco's awesome domination as the team's primary wide receiver could come to an end. The Bengals could pick up Chad's option in 2011 for $6 million, or let him leave for free agency for only a $3.5 million buyout. The Bengals will likely start Andre Caldwell and Jerome Simpson in his place.
Unknown until later this afternoon is running back. With Brian Leonard out with an ankle injury, running back Bernard Scott is questionable with a toe injury after missing Wednesday's practice, limited the following two practices. We can assume that Cedric Peerman will be activated Sunday.

Here's your chance, Jerome Simpson.

I thought that ship sailed
Then again they left a sack machine sitting on the bench for way too long when we needed all the pressure we could get. I wonder if the coaches on either side know what they got.
