Terrell Owens Ranks Second In Pro Bowl Fan Vote
With the Bengals heading into week 14 with a 2-10 record in 2010, news that Andrew Whitworth was leading all AFC tackles in the fan vote for the 2010 NFL Pro Bowl was a welcome change of optimism. According to Joe Reedy, Whitworth has only given up three quarterback sacks during his previous 28 games played.
"It could happen," said Whitworth of his chances of being selected. "I had Willie (Anderson) call me last weekend and said he went when they had a bad year. For me though I'm not worried about the Pro Bowl. Its about how we finish the last four games."
Another Bengals player we pointed out having a good season that could be considered for Pro Bowl candidacy is wide receiver Terrell Owens, who ranks in the top five in receptions, yards receiving and touchdowns. With 262,851 votes, Owens ranks behind Andre Johnson's 340,996 votes and above Reggie Wayne (258,349), Anquan Boldin (229,532) and Wes Welker (184,260).
The vote ends on December 20, so go to NFL.com/ProBowl and vote to keep Whitworth and Owens near the top.
