Report: Bengals receive a third and fourth round compensatory pick
The Cincinnati Bengals will get a third round and fourth round compensatory pick during the 2010 NFL Draft. The belief is that the third round compensation is based on Stacy Andrews leaving for the greener Philadelphia Eagles -- are we talking uniform or Benjamins? Hum. Having started eight games in 2009, the Bengals are likely receiving the fourth round compensatory pick for Ryan Fitzpatrick. Both picks will come at the end of the respective round.
This will give Cincinnati nine picks for this year's draft, including six picks through the first four rounds. Some previous compensatory picks allowed the Bengals to draft guys like Chase Coffman (don't murderously laugh), Andre Caldwell, Morgan Trent, Bernard Scott, Chinedum Ndukwe, Landon Johnson, Robert Geathers, Stacy Andrews among others.

Too bad
We didn’t use the other 3rd round pick to get Anquan. I mean seriously…..Antonio Bryant or Q, who do you think will make a bigger impact?
Boldin is a beast but...
Boldin “might” make more of an impact than Bryant but not giving up our picks in the 3rd and 4th in this Draft makes it more than even… Bryant and a good 3rd pick will make more of an impact than just Boldin
I did a Bengals mock draft earlier
on this site and predicted a 3rd and a 4th so my prediction skills are super-awesome yes sir…. now if only i could predict the winner of the world cup or IPL

Great news for the "extra picks"
These are good rounds to get some good talent, esp lineman and WRs. I like it.
what about one for T.J.
We should received one for T.J. as well.
i didn't think that could be the case
since his contract with the jets didn’t run out, they released him.
RIP Slim.
A 4 th for Fitz!!!!
Gotta go down as one of the best trades in team history!

Excellent news.
Now that we have six picks in the first four rounds, I’d like to split them half and half—three on offense and three on defense. Using BPA as much as we can, I’d like to draft at all three levels of defense (d-line, LBs, secondary) and then draft a guard and two skill position players. But I wouldn’t be surprised to see us take a corner and a safety, or even two linebackers…
Alright!!
With how much talent is in this draft we could really put some pieces together if we draft right.. which is a huge IF.
