Bengals release cornerback Mike Mickens

As if we didn't have enough on our plate with pre-draft conversation, such as positional priorities, or how I was completely alone when suggesting that the Bengals should pass on Ted Ginn Jr. if the topic were entertained by the front office, the Bengals threw a small wrench.

According to Aaron Wilson, the Cincinnati Bengals released cornerback Mike Mickens on Thursday. Not only does Mickens have to work towards assuring his taxes are in on time, but he loses his job. Talk about a rough day.

This leaves the Bengals with six cornerbacks signed for 2010, which was the original number before David Jones signed his one-year tender on Wednesday.
