Back On Primetime: Bengals To Host Steelers On Monday Night Football
Around 7PM, the NFL will release the 2010 NFL schedule. As Jake pointed out in an earlier post, the release of this year's schedule is going a tad bit slower because the league wants to have week 17 division games.
However, what typically happens is that teams leak their schedules and one team has a game of particular note.
Joe Reedy tweets, per a Pittsburgh radio station, that the Bengals will host a Monday Night Football game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on November 8. So put one in the can. We're going PRIMETIME, baby.

yeah, i just saw the leak.
sucks. since there are some people who believe he might get 8 games. i guess the bengals being his first game back if that happens would be a bonus. but cleveland and baltimore would get to play them with dixon/batch.
RIP Slim.
RE:
Well, even if it’s eight games, Steelers could still have a bye week before the game and that would put us at the eighth game. But I want Ben. I want the Steelers at full strength. No damned excuses!

does it really matter
even if we beat them, they’re still just going to say
6 SUPER BOWLZZZ!! Yinz have nun…we r winnerz.
RIP Slim.
According to the leaks, their bye is week 5. So if it’s a 8 game, he’ll still be out.
And I don’t care one way or the other. Ben won’t make the game or break it for us. Especially not that late in the season. It’s not remotely the same thing as facing a team unexpectedly without Brees/Brady/Manning/etc and we face them the next week.
Got to admit
It does seem the first 4 games for the Steelers seems to be a little suspect to me.. It appears the NFL is catering a little to the Big Ben situation as if he’s getting a 4 game suspension..

not in the same realm
as them losing a qb the week before, but if you think pitt is close to the team they are with leftwich, batch, or dixon instead of ben, you’re mistaken.
RIP Slim.
With Pittsburgh facing Cleveland in Week 17
That leaves us facing Balitmore.. That would make sense seeing no one is projecting the Steelers or the Browns to make a playoff run next year..
4 games reportedly we have figured out...
Season Opener for MNF against the Jets in their new staduim
Week 9 Monday night vs Steelers –
Week 14 @ Steelers and
Week 17 with Ravens somewhere
Reedy reports Jets and Bengals not the season opener..
So count that one out we only have 3 figured out..

Reedy's hinting that there are "more than 2 and less than 4" for the Bengals
I’m assuming he means primetime games.
so would that be 3?

btw - Steelers traded for Leftwich in case you didn't know
in large part I’m sure due to the fact that Ben’s suspension will be announced soon
