Bengals Invite CSU-Pueblo Wide Receiver Augustine Agyei To Rookie Minicamp
According to KKTV in Southern Colorado, CSU-Pueblo wide receiver Augustine Agyei received an invite to join the Bengals during the team's rookie minicamp this weekend. This doesn't mean that the Bengals will sign the receiver, or if there's any serious interest. Typically the team likes to have a crowd during rookie minicamp to have a (at least partially) functioning practice with some players doing 7-on-7 (if not 11-on-11) work. Since there's only so many rookies that the Bengals have acquired, they'll need to fill out with rookie invitees.
So why even bring this up? If anything, we're informative -- and sometimes we get really bored and have this obsessive need to post everything we read about the Bengals.
From GoThunderWolves.com:
Agyei, who was an all-Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference selection with the ThunderWolves in 2009, led the ThunderWolves in receiving, broke all-time school records in kick return yardage and accumulated the third-most all-purpose yards in a single season with 1,261 yards in 2009.
Agyei has been a fashionable pro prospect since showing off his raw physical skills at a Pro Day at the United States Air Force Academy, logging a 4.42 40-yard dash, a nearly 11-foot broad jump, and a 6.6 in three-cone drills, all of which were among the best results of any Division II athlete in skills tests this offseason.
"I'm excited and grateful for the opportunity to pursue my dream," Agyei said. "I'm ready to get after it and prove what I can do."

thanks for the update Kirk.
Will anyone from CJ be in attendance for the Rookie Minicamp? or open media time in the lockerroom?
3 yards and a pile of dust
Nope. :(
We’re still not credentialed media in the eyes of the Bengals. We’re evil bloggers.

mike probably fears
letting one site in and being sued by the other sites for access to press status. doubtful mike wants people from some of the sites up his butt with 24/7 coverage from camp.

I am fairly new to this site and I LOVE IT. I have been a Bengals fan my entire life. I will always come here. I recently signed up to be able to post. The coverage is better than any other website PLUS the members are far more knowledgable on this site than any other site. I’ve seen many instances where the fan posts have more knowledge than some sites actual articles. Just an observation, but I’m stuck here!
i like it because of the low amount of flame wars, trolling, and poorly structured arguments between the community.
aside from the obvious trolls and a few relentless steeler fans, it’s a pretty good environment to talk bengals.

his chances of making this team on anything other than the practice squad
are slim to none

In fairness
Everybody looks slow when they are recorded on VHS camcorders. Seriously, you know it’s division II football when they can’t even get a decent camera to film it.
This is our year!
