The Bengals coaching staff became quite enamored with the runner during last year’s Senior Bowl. The 5-foot-9, 210-pound Peerman was one of those prospects who responded well to running backs coach Jim Anderson during the week of practice in Mobile. The Bengals coached the North squad in 2009 Under Armour Senior Bowl, which Peerman participated.
"Coach Anderson helped me with my footwork and gave me pointers of things to work on while in Mobile," Peerman said in an interview. "What he told me has really helped me out thus far. Coach was very good to talk to because he was so real. He was so truthful and wasn’t going to sugarcoat anything. I just enjoyed being around him and that whole experience."

I hope he makes the team.
As much as I want another big workhorse RB, I wanted us to draft Peerman, and I think he brings some unique qualities to the table. I’d be thrilled if he became the #4.

I'm Surprised ...
Peerman has not settled in with a team yet. He’s multi-dimensional and really had a nice career at Virginia. He was very good in the open field and an excellent receiver. I’m pulling for him and hope he gets his stripes
Good college career
Living in Virginia, I follow ACC football and always had a favorable impression of Peerman at UVA.
