Bobbie Williams Back In The Fold

According to PFT Bobbie Williams will be returning to the bengals, which gives us even more flexibility in the 2010 draft. Per http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2010/04/03/bengals-bring-back-bobbie-williams/ and according to Adam Schefter's Twitter account the deal should be done pretty soon with there being a reached agreement. Heres a link to Schefter's Twitter account: http://twitter.com/ADAM_SCHEFTER . This makes mes excited about our draft possibiities.. WHO DEY

bad move

I thought we would learned our lesson with Willie Anderson and Levi Jones. Although, I’m not sure how much we paid to get him back.

When was the last time Bobbie Williams was ever even mentioned for the Pro Bowl. He is really overrated. I hope we still try to draft Iupati

Since you ask...

the last time was at the end of this season: according to Joe Reedy, he was one of five Bengals who were second alternates, though of that group only Ochocinco ended up going.

Bobbie Williams Pro Bowl?

They actually mentioned Bobbie Williams as a Pro Bowl Alternate last year. So he did play at a high level but the penalties we a problem for him. False start, Holding ect.

Bobbie Jones is a rock solid leader for the O-Line

This is a great move to get him back in our lineup. Even if we draft a guard, esp Iuputi, you want Bobbie there to show him the ropes, have him learn his schemes, and be there as a quality backup if said rookie is able to contribute in 2010.

I remember this one time we got a massive OT in the draft. He didn’t play hardly at all for the entire season. Sure was great to have some experience to be ready for Game 1.

Welcome Back, Bobbie.

Bobbie is a good move for the short term.

We can’t go into the season with Livings at left guard and Mathis at right guard. These guys are decent players but i don’t think they should be starting. We needed to resign B.Williams and draft a left guard in the draft somewhere in the first three rounds. I agree i remember the whole resigning big Willie after his prime and it backfired and i was aginst the move mainly because if we resigned Willie then we were letting Steinbach walk and i still will never understand that move resigning a veteran as old as willie and letting a young probowl calibur guard walk. Nice one Bengals. I remember Mike Brown saying We wont pay a guard tackle money. Even Willie said they should resign the young players first. The Levi Jones resigning was a good move that failed due to injury so i don’t hold that one aginst them. Here’s to a good draft and up and coming season.

This is good news. It offsets the shitty opening day that my Reds had today.

Slim 15, you will be missed. RIP Chris Henry
