Bengals Officially Release List of College Free Agent Signings
The Cincinnati Bengals finally released their list of college free agents Friday as rookies head into the weekend with five planned practices (two on Friday, two on Saturday and one on Sunday). That list is:
- Rahim Alem, DE, 6-3, 251; Louisiana State; New Orleans, La.
- Cordera Eason, HB, 6-0, 226; Mississippi; Meridian, Miss.
- Bryan Evans, S, 5-11, 193; Georgia; Jacksonville, Fla.
- Gabriel Manns, OT, 6-6, 323; North Carolina Central; Winston-Salem, N.C.
- Jeromy Miles, S, 6-2, 210; Massachusetts; Sicklerville, N.J.
- Andrew Mitchell, OT, 6-5, 308; Oklahoma State; Choctaw, Okla.
- Vincent Rey, LB, 6-2, 240; Duke; Far Rockaway, N.Y.
- Joe Tronzo, FB, 5-11, 242; Louisville; Louisville, Ky.
- Mike Windt, LS, 6-1, 251; Cincinnati; Cincinnati, Ohio
We had at some point over the past week posted stories about all nine signings. However, we had one listed that's not on the Bengals list that we posted. Virginia running back Mikell Simpson posted via twitter that he signed, but that was largely an assumption on our part. Even so, he's in Cincinnati now and we're assuming now that he's an invitee and not a signed college free agent.
Additionally, according to Joe Reedy, there are 25 players that were invited "on a tryout basis."
There are 13 players here on a tryout basis who have local ties. They are:
- Miami Univ. linebacker Caleb Bostic (Galloway, Ohio/Westland HS)
- Findley Univ. wide receiver Mike Chambers
- Ohio State defensive tackle Todd Denlinger (Troy, Ohio/Troy HS)
- Mount St. Joseph linebacker Alex Harbin(Elder High)
- Kentucky offensive guard Christian Johnson (Fort Campbell)
- Kentucky linebacker Sam Maxwell
- Louisville safety Richard Raglin
- UC halfback Jacob Ramsey (Columbus/Independence High)
- Miami quarterback Daniel Raudabaugh
- Miami punter Jake Richardson (Oxford/Talawanda High)
- Ohio U. offensive guard Chris Rodgers
- Louisville defensive end L.T. Walker
- UC defensive end Curtis Young.
Other players here on tryout basis are:
- Colorado State-Pueble wide receiver Augustine Agyel
- Duke safety Zack Asack
- Villanova offensive guard Jonathan Bugli
- Hampton halfback LaMarcus Coker
- Ashland quarterback Billy Cundiff (not the former Baltimore kicker)
- Illinois halfback Dan Dufrene
- Southern Utah cornerback DeWayne Lewis
- Eastern Michigan cornerback Johnny Sears
- Memphis wide receiver Carlos Singleton
- Stanford defensive tackle Ekom Udofia
- Army tight end Alejandro Villanueva
- Florida International safety Jeremiah Weatherspoon

Oh, you hate your job? Why didn't you say so? There's a support group for that.
It's called EVERYBODY, and they meet at the bar.

looking forward to playing the Chargers...
So DT Todd Denlinger from Troy, OH can go up against OG Kris Dielman from Troy, OH
Tronzo
This Tronzo kid seems like the kind of hardnosed contact loving meathead that plays like a fullback really should. Kind of reminds of the Owen Schmitt (the dude he went berserker on his own head with his helmet) or a Jim Kleinsasser (Vikings) kind of player. He brings the “THUMP” that Fui seems to lack.
ali villanueva
as i posted weeks before the draft, i wanted the bengals to draft him, 6’9" and a 3 year starter at left tackle (blocking tight end anyone) and he lost 30 lbs before his senior year so hence the move to…not tight end…too athletic…yep, wide reciever 1 and only year at WR…so, he can play TE, as with caleb campbell of detroit he must serve 1 year before he can actually play, but 6’9" 277lbs of tight end is very intriguing, i gotta say, love the move
Memphis wide receiver Carlos Singleton
What do we think of this guy? Any spectators of CUSA Football?
6’7" 230lb wideout?
If this guy can run we might have something here, huh?
3 yards and a pile of dust
same thing I was saying about
Mario Urrutia- and the Giants’ Ramses Barden for that matter, last year. 4.62 is his 40.

Bryan Evans
Will make the team and supplant Tom Nelson as a backup. He was switched from CB to FS late in his college career and showed promise. I read a list on cbssportsline.com that had him listed as one of the best UCFA’s.

Open field tackles
If Bryan Evans can hit consistently like that in open field tackles, that would be a plus.
