According to the Bengals Official Website TE Reggie Kelly has officially signed with the team. It comes from a Tweet from Reggie himself. It is also posted on the Bengals official website.

This should help our TE situation tremendously. I know we drafted the best TE available, but to have a guy like Reggie showing him all the tricks is completely invaluable for Gresham. This also allows us to not rely on Dan Coats and provides protection in case Coffman isn't the TE we thought when drafting him. In Coats case he is a good blocker but a complete liability if he has to run a route. He can not catch the ball consistently.
Speaking of Coats I saw a video on the Bengals website that showed him dropping 4 passes that hit him in the hands during the recent Rookie Minicamp. Oddly this video has been edited. I'm sure of it. It was the Offense vs. Defense video from the Rookie Minicamp. It was originally over 3 min 50 sec. when it was posted. I checked again this morning and those clips of Coats dropping passes as they hit him in the hands have been edited out of the video. It is now just barely over 3 min. Did anyone else see this video? Am I confusing this with another one on the website?
Anyway now that Reggie has signed this should allow us to not have to worry about Coats. He shouldn't see very much play time and is going to be fighting to even make the roster. Especially as a TE. This provides us with more depth and insurance at TE should we see a repeat of last year and the position gets devastated by injury. It hopefully will also allow us to run more 2 TE sets and be able to run and pass out of this formation which is very important. One more thing it helps is the locker room. Reggie is considered a Pro's Pro and always seems to do things the right way. He will be someone the younger guys should look up to. GREAT SIGNING, IMO!
