And Bobbie Williams is the fifth oldest offensive lineman in the league. Interesting.

Bye, Dawk come here asking about the OL for his post.
He was provided the projected players.
Middle of the pack sounds pretty healthy to me. It means that if lose Bobbie next season, we’ll stay in the middle of the pack. Young, but not too young. Plus it means we can keep this unit together for a few years, which makes them even more solid.
I expect about 12 years of Gresham as a stud
Dunlap never quite good as he should
Shipley will bust
Atkins solid
Ghee starter; makes a couple pro bowls
Muckelroy not great but too good to keep off the field
Everyone else gone after two years.
Shipley
Shipley will not bust! If Briscoe is not with this team in 2 years it will be because they tried to put him on Waivers and all the other teams claimed him. He will stick in this league.
I know
I just said that to see if anyone reads it.
I live in Texas and actually lived in Briscoe’s home town for about 10 years. I’m just not sold on him yet.
I'm not going to say Briscoe will be a star
But he will definitely be in the league in 2 years. Like I said he may not be on our team but he will be in the NFL. If we try to place him on the PS then 20+ teams will be trying to claim him.
What's with the Briscoe love???
Not only does he have some serious character red flags… but he also has really weak measurables. I think if he catches this year, its probably with the practice squad.
Too much love for draft picks
We tend to over value draft picks.
Part of it is that teams need to sell tickets. This time of year they are telling everyone how great their picks were.
Would anybody really expect a “this guy sucks we shouldn’t have drafted him” out of an assistant coach a week after the draft? He’d be fired.
Briscoe
He was a steal in the round we got him. He was widely considered to be a 3rd round talent. I think he will turn out and NO he won’t be on our Practice Squad. If we place him on Waivers teams would be lining up to sign him. Have you watched him play. He didn’t have the best workout numbers but the guy can flat out play! Combine numbers don’t always translate.
I wouldn't say they're serious red flags
One was shoplifting and how many people can claim a lifetime of not shoplifting at last once. The other was undisclosed violation of team rules. An since the coach went to bat for him, you have to think it wasn’t very detrimental. I think he has serious potential.
Also, according to his wikipedia, he got an offer from Oklahoma state. Can you imagine dez briscoe and dez Bryant on the same team? They would have been NE 07 unstoppable.
RIP Slim.

Whaaa??
You mean his legs haven’t fallen off? Not getting dominated at the point of attack? Brastkowski drew up a few plays for him? Not rushing to sign Mr. Amazing Reggie Kelly?
Simply amazing.
