The 2009 season was statistically an improvement and a success compared to some of the other quarterbacks around the league but if you watched Carson every Sunday the numbers he had would be a complete surprise. The only good stat that he had this year in my book was that he started and completed every game this season without enduring a season ending injury. Although there was a few nicks and dings to Carson in 2009 he was more or less healthy and when Chris Henry was out for the season, god bless him, he was unable to stretch the field and therefore limited in the passing game. But the past is the past and the Bengals haven surrounded Carson with multiple weapons for this up and coming season. Aside from Carson and Bryant, Carson now has a handful of targets to choose from with the least experianced player being Jordan Shippley, who is a carbon copy of Wes Welker, and Matt Jones who makes Leon Hall look like he's never played the game before. Not to mention the brick wall in the middle of the field in Jermaine Greshem. If Carson doesn't show that he is the Carson of old with all his new toys this season, what do the Bengals do?
