To sum up, he talks about the contract and states that it’s too early to give him a new deal after one year of production. But if he produces this season, he will be able to work out a deal for more money. No crap. That’s the idea, the team takes a risk by signing early, or the player does by proving the year wasn’t an aberration. But he goes on to tell how Benson should be good this year. So it seems like he makes a better case for the Bengals to actually sign him. WTF?

The interesting thing is that they do give the Bengals a lot of props, and even say that they have match-up advantages over the Ravens. First time I’ve actually heard someone give the Bengals the edge off of this site. Maybe they are paying attention…..
