Bengals Training Camp Schedule Released

Ever been to Georgetown? There's not a lot to do, especially during the summer when Georgetown College is out. There really aren't many excuses to go there unless you're going to be attending classes as a Georgetown Tiger or you live there. However, there is a three week period of time in which Bengals fans near and far migrate to the center of Kentucky: the Cincinnati Bengals training camp.

The Bengals released their training camp schedule today. Camp opens for the first time at 9 am on July 29 and closes on August 13. Here's the schedule:

Parking is $15 and admission is free. The snack stand is open during the day and from what I remember, it wasn't too terribly expensive as far as stadium food goes (I think I gave up just a couple fingers instead of an arm and a leg for a hotdog). Seriously though, it was a great time when I went and I plan on going back again. At the end of practice, most of the players walk down the fence line and sign autographs. It's a good chance to get an early look at the rookies and acquired free agents as well as get a chance to meet some of the players. I recommend you check it out.

When is the scrimmage games set for?

Offense vs. Defense? Usually they have two, one on the the 2nd Friday and one on the 2nd Saturday of camp but the Hall of Fame game is happening on that Sunday.

Due to the Bengals’ participation in the Hall of Fame Game against the Dallas Cowboys on August 8, the traditional Intrasquad Scrimmage and Mock Game will not be held as in years past.
