Around SBN: Ryder Hesjedal Wins Giro d'Italia

* How soon will Gresham start? If he is in camp by the third day, the expectation is immediately after doing well in offseason workouts.
* So what does that mean for Kelly? A little bit of mentoring and also seeing action as the second tight end. If there’s a long holdout or Gresham takes a huge step back, Kelly could regain his starting role.
* What about Chase Coffman? This is the most healthy he has been in nearly two years, which showed in offseason workouts with some nice catches. A two tight end set in the red zone with Gresham and Coffman would present plenty of matchup problems.

I can't wait!

It’s 2nd and goal.

Gresham is lined up next to Bryant, Coffman is near the tackle but Ocho is all the way out near the sideline.. Brian Leonard and Benson are snarling in the backfield.

WIll they pass, will they run? Good luck trying to figure that one out.

My how a year changes everything.

To his credit, I've done the same when plotting out plays. lol

“Aw crap, there aren’t that many positions available.”

When’s the last time we had THIS problem, fellas? I’m loving it.

HEHE Nice catch

I didn’t say which side of the sideline Ocho is on. Just think about that. Ocho heads towards the sideline like he’s going to line up, then just steps out of bounds (bengals sideline) right before the line sets. The corner wouldn’t know what to do and now it’s 10 on 11.

Move over bratowski. I got this.

Not necessarily

There is no mention of a QB here, maybe Leonard is passing, though he does better on 3rd down.

Also imagine this.. 2nd and goal from the 3. Kelly lines up off Andre Smith’s shoulder, with Gresham outside him. Coffman is opposite them with Leonard and Benson in the backfield. Palmer takes the snap, hands off to Benson to smash into the right side. No wait its play action with Loenard in the Middle and Coffman and Gresham alone on either side of the field.

What

you’re not throwing Dennis Roland a bone off play action as a TE in a 3 TE set with Kelly and Gresham???

That is basically

exactly what I would like to hear about the TE position.
