Report: Bengals And Carlos Dunlap Agree To A Deal

With the team gathering in Georgetown to kickoff Training Camp this year, going to meetings and getting settled in, there's still one glaring omission -- the absence of tight end Jermaine Gresham and defensive end Carlos Dunlap. In truth, 30 of 32 players drafted in the first round have yet to agree to deals with the team that drafted them. Gresham included. Some suspect collusion by the NFL owners.

The Bengals are also without their second round pick, defensive end Carlos Dunlap. At most, he'll miss the morning practice tomorrow that kicks off Training Camp. At the very least, he's already on his way and makes practice. Regardless, according to Geoff Hobson, the Bengals have finally agreed to a deal with second round pick Carlos Dunlap. Terms are unknown. But who cares about terms, right? Let's just get our boys in camp and working towards a Chad Ochocinco prophesied Super Bowl.

Yes Gresham Child pleeez…SIGN and play! Without a contract, you have no team to play for. Without a team to play for, you’re not a football player!

What contract would you guys be willing to give Gresham?

I really wish the NFL had a rookie salary scale similar to the NBA. Then there wouldn’t be difficult negotiations with this these guys that have never stepped foot on a field.

The more I hear and see about Carlos, the better I like him.

What a punisher this guy should be once he learns the system.
