Elizabeth Merrill: Year After Wife's Death, Zimmer Finds Solace in Coaching

If you remember last year, you remember the emotions that you felt, watching the players and Mike Zimmer as the coach had just lost his wife, Vikki ten months ago. It was emotional. The players were emotional. The coaches equally so. And to a degree, Bengals fans' hearts bled out for the Zimmer family, as we're always feeling that we're apart of the same Bengals family.

ESPN's Elizabeth Merrill writes a stirring account of the coach since the passing of his wife and what she meant to him.

I highly recommend that you take the time to read it.
