First of all I would like to say we are still Bengals fans, despite the miserable day we had at the camp in Georgetown Ky.
I work for the BCBDD for adults with developmental disabilities, we took 20 of the adult Bengal fans to the camp on Aug. 12 as a field trip. We thought this would be a good and fun experience, but unfortunately it was not. Our supervisor even called ahead and spoke with someone and told them of the group that was coming. He assured her everything would be fine, we would be taken care of, but we were not and were treated very badly. Our trip there was 2 hours long we came from Georgetown Ohio, upon arrival we were told there were no reservations or any knowledge of us coming. Therefore while the staff was trying to take care of the situation we had to remain under a pavilion area not allowed to go any further to watch the practice. We were under the pavilion for almost 2 hours, while under there, some of our people were treated badly by the staff in the gift shop. At this point to avoid any more problems we were about to leave and they showed up with passes. They lead us down on the field where, we only seen 2 plays and had to push our way through the crowds just to try and get autographs for our adults that could get out onto the field. Our organization has even tried talking to the university, but all they say is there is nothing they can do.
