Bengals Starters To Play Entire First Half Against Buffalo
Against the Dallas Cowboys, the Bengals first team played two possessions, which was roughly the entire first quarter. Against the the Denver Broncos, the first team offense played well into the second quarter, finally leaving after three possessions with just over eight minutes remaining in the first half. Against the Philadelphia Eagles, the Bengals first team offense played the game's opening six possessions, which spanned the entire first quarter.
Much like against the Eagles, the Bengals are going to play their starters in the first half this weekend against the Buffalo Bills, according to Marvin Lewis. How has the first team offense done thus far?
| Game | Possessions | Yards | Results |
| Cowboys | 2 | 22 | Two Punts |
| Broncos | 3 | 145 | Missed FG, TO on Downs, TD |
| Eagles | 7 | 213 | TD, Missed FG, Three Punts, Two Interceptions |
| Totals | 12 | 380 | Two TDs, Two Missed FGs, Five Punts, Two INTs, TO on downs |

Hopefully
we see a touchdown or two from Palmer. I’d like to see Chad more involved as well.

Missed FG's...
If this doesn’t get figured out early, this could bite them in the ass again this year. At first, I thought that they just needed a decent kicker who maybe wasn’t as accurate as Graham, but had better kickoffs and was more clutch. Now, it seems as if they need a guy who’s pretty accurate. The offense will move the ball—but they may not have completely solved their red zone problems from last year. They’ll need a guy who can come in and kick close to 80% for the year. I don’t think it’s either of the guys that they currently have. Rayner looks like crap and Nugent can’t see the field. Cundiff or Kris Brown should be names that they look at. Don’t bring headcase Rackers back—that’ll be a disaster.

I’d like to see Nugent get a couple cracks at kicking FG’s that are not 59 yards.

Say. What is that line with the 12 possessions? Your prediction on what we will see against Buffalo?
