Report: Bengals And Johnathan Joseph Could Return To Negotiating Table Soon
Even though he didn't play on Sunday with a thigh bruise, the Bengals cornerback Johnathan Joseph and his agent could reportedly return to the negotiating table soon. According to James Walker, Joseph, who is playing on the final year of his rookie contract, has already exchanged two proposals during the offseason.
The Bengals then shifted their focus to getting all of their rookie deals done heading into training camp. Now that business is complete, more dialogue is expected between now and the start of the regular season.

it’s too proactive, and requires thinking for yourself.

Agree
Since the Revis deal hasn’t been done, I’m assuming that’s why the tight-wad Brown family is starting to re-hash this contract situation—because they know they’d pay Joseph less now than after Revis’ deal gets done.

Good news
I hope the extend him. However, the D still looked pretty good without him in there, which speaks to the depth.
