Mike and Mike speed question
Listening to Mike and Mike this morning on ESPN Rad-iddly-o [1410 WING if that matters]. They have some speed round where the little dude asks Mike Golic some stuff and Golic gives a quick feedback.
Well, one was "If Chad and TO are both open and it is 3rd and 5, who does Carson Palmer throw to?"
Golic picked TO, saying that he felt that, even though Chad and Palmer have been together for quite a while, Palmer seemed more comfortable with TO in those types of situations.
(Not sure what he watched or heard to get that basis, he didn't cite)
anyway: Poll Time!

Thow it to Shipley or Gresham
Then it comes to be that the soothing light at the end of your tunnel, is just a freight train coming your way...
@btcoop71
if it’s a short-yardage situation, carson will almost always go to the outlet (i.e., shipley or gresham).
i'm going to go america all over your ass!

throw it to chad
owens will drop it open or covered.
Carson doesn't get to pass on 3rd and 5
because
(E) Bratt called a running play up the middle.

you thought it was a running play,
but it was a shovel pass. This is clearly marked in the Bengals play-book 3 and 5 or longer. Just as run up the middle is on the pages first down and second down.
No, it's an end around
Because those work so well for the Bengals.

This is a trick question...
The answer is whichever one he sees first, because if he’s passing up an open receiver just to look elsewhere, your team is in trouble (which they aren’t).
I have not yet begun to procrastinate.
TO
TO has emerged as his favorite target this preseason, in my opinion at least.

I think alot of that had to do with QB/WR timing and chemistry
Later in the preseason Chad was getting more balls thrown his way. But it is still possible that he has emerged as his favorite target.

TO
I can’t wait to see Chad’s whiny ass sulk on the sidelines when he doesn’t get the ball.
Answer:
Whichever one is further down the field.
I have really, filthy, dirty thoughts about the cute redhead with tiger ears going on right now.
