What do we do at QB if Palmer is gone next season?

OK so lets go ahead and peer into the future and say that one way or the other Palmer isn't back.

This team will be going into the 2011 season with Lil Palmer (probably not), and Dan LeFevour.

I'm not high on this draft and I think it would be a huge reach to pick a QB at #4 overall.  We know that Mikey isn't going to trade back so let's assume we go D-Line/CB(Saftey) as the first round pick.

If Someone like Cam Newtown falls to the second round (Doubtful) do we take a chance on his athleticisim?  The big problem is that we aren't going to have a Vet that knows the system to play while the drafted QB holds the clipboard for a couple of seasons.

What about trading for someone like Kolb?  I'm not high on Kolb and never have been, but I think he could be a good starter in this league. The problem here is that he seems like Palmer in the fact that he'snot athletic enough to really survive back there behind a bad line.

Maybe we try and pry Kitna back from Dallas?  I know that after getting to start again for Dallas that he would love to get a shot at being "the man" again for a year or two.  Kitna is never going to be better than a middle of the road QB, but that's what we've had for 2 years with CP9 as well.

I'd like to see Lefevour out there lined up for the firing squad next year.  If he doesn't look like he has "it" then we can look for a QB next year.
