Bengals wide receivers Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens don't look to be back. Their nameplates are off their lockers and while Owens wasn't at the team meeting, The Ocho slipped out before the media arrived.

no way Mike Brown already made his mind up on Chad
when he hasn’t even made his mind up on Marvin….

absolutely
but that decision should have been made weeks if not months ago….

Brown wants Lewis back, and he's going to do just about everything to get it done when push comes to shove.
That’s still what I think. As for this team source saying Marvin’s gone and interested in Pitt, another team source has said that he has no interest in leaving the NFL.
All this media speculation spitting out every piece of nonsense someone associated w/ the organization has to say reminds me very much of the winter meetings/MLB trade deadline.
Hm...interesting.
Why do you think Mike Brown wants Marvin back so much? Because he likes/trusts him? Give me something positive to hang on to today, please…

Well, in Hobson's latest article he does say that the rumor has it that MB has offered Marvin a new contract.
Moreover, if he didn’t want to keep Marvin, Marvin would already be gone. He trusts him.
The fact that Ocho and his nameplate are already gone are a good indicator MB is willing to change some things up for Marvin, and that MB thinks he can get Marvin back.
Yea.
Well a good start to get Marvin back would to be you know…modernize the damn facilities!
And...um
have a real scouting dept.

I think the problem is Brat.
Marvin wants a new OC along with some other coaches too. He wants to change things up on offense and can’t.
Don't we all

Hobson's latest update says we should know of the decision tomorrow.
He’s changed his story from something along the lines of (I can’t recall verbatim) “it’s believed MB has offered Marvin a contract extension”, to some mysterious statement that basically states that Lewis is going to mull the offer overnight.
If I’m trusting anybody in this mess it’s Hobson.
Not sure the contract extension is the issue
It’s all that needs to go around it with who has the right to say and do what.
Wonder is Lewis angling for GM or if he just wants more of a say in the things he sees Brown not able to do (which is a lot).
Why doesn’t Mike make himself lifetime honorary president and let one of the kids take over. He’s pensionable age, surely.
