Perception and reality sometimes diverge, and this year, that was true of the offensive line. I didn't think the offensive line had a very good year, but they're back in the top 10 on pass protection metrics -- despite our predictable offense, we finish 7th. See the story:

Note, that we were a top 10 line in 2005, 2006, 2007 -- but 26th in 2008, and 17th last year. Now just imagine what will happen if we get Andre playing to his potential. While the O-line did (apparently) do very well in pass protection, I think they fell off in running. Again, maybe due to the fact that we're predictable.
BTW-- they were the O-line of the week in Week 17 - against, of all teams, the Ravens.

If you get behind STATS metrics, it's not just how well the line plays, it's basically how well the passing offense works -- which is why Indy, which I'll say has a very average O-Line, is top of the list. Maybe Carson and the O-Line had a slightly better year than we think. Interesting that we put up a monster number with Batman and Robin on the injured list. Maybe running the route that you're supposed to is good for the passing game.
