I'm writing this at 3am, so just 10 hrs away from some Sunday football! Here's a fan's glance at the AFC North for this week and their matchups.
Bengals vs. Colts, 1pm kickoff. Last time I checked the line was Bengal's by 5. If you read the comments on CincyJungle their are a decent amount of fans worried about this game. I think it will be interesting and cant wait until tipoff. Will the Bengals ground & pound (Indy has had 3 RBs gash them for over 110 yrds in first 5 games) or are they going to turn to an air raid attack against their banged up secondary?
Bengals 27 - Colts 20. This would put Bengals at 4-2 and in 2nd place tie.
Steelers vs Jags, 1pm kickoff. Saturday night's line was Pitts by 11. I personally think this is way too much. Yes the Jags are on the road against a team just finding its rhythm. Gabbert isn't bad for a rookie, he just doesn't have much talent around him. Steelers will prevail but much closer. Redzone problems will haunt the Jags.
Steelers 21 - Jags 16. Steelers would be 4-2 but still 0-1 in Division behind Bengals.
Ravens vs Texans, 4:05pm kickoff. Last line was Ravens by 6. The Texans are seriously banged up. No Johnson, no Williams, and a banged up Schaub. I personally believe the Texans are the most over hyped team this year. Two of their 3 wins come against winless teams. Ravens will give them a rude awakening in this one.
Ravens 31 - Texans 17. Ravens will be 4-1 in division.
Browns vs Raiders, 4:15pm kickoff. Line is Raiders by 9. This game is too close to call. Will the Browns run Hillis or force McCoy to throw 60 passes?
Raiders 21 - Browns 20. Cleveland drops to 2-3.
