Skuta

He’s better than any last minute stop gap free agent or trade. Rey shouldn’t be out more than a few weeks. Rivers has never played MLB so that is out of the question. I think Skuta played pretty well yesterday anyways.

Skuta played terrible

He was non existent yesterday. I had high regards until yesterday.

What do you do when there's no way out? Find a way to get deeper in it.

dunno that rivers is out of the question

b/c the way howard has played, the only thing rivers is out of, is a job. might as well try him in practice as mlb and split time with skuta.

I saw Brandon Johnson lining at MLB a lot against the Colts

I think it depends on the extent of the injury

1. Is this the same ankle he broke? If so the rehab could be long.
2. How long is Rey going to be out? If its only a game or two (with the bye helping this week) then I think they stand pat. If its more of a long term injury then I think Zimmer calls Dhani. Dhani makes more sense than anyone on the street or available through trade (unless the Raiders want to trade McClain for CP).

I only think the Rivers situation changes if Rivers is healthy and Rey is going on IR. Otherwise, I still think Rivers hits IR in the next week or two.
