Like many other Bengals fans out there, I was drawn to this game just out of curiousity. We all knew what Palmer was and wasn't capable of. With all of Huey Jacksons smoke that he's blown up everyone's asses about Palmer being the 2nd coming of George Blanda, I just had to catch a peep. What I saw I was expecting, and yet still stunned. We all knew he was rusty, that he lost his "zip" many years ago. We all knew that he through the ball into double and triple coverage on a regular basis, attempting to make passes that he use to complete all the time. But.....I never imagine it would be this bad. He looked totally lost. I even felt bad for him, not much, but a little bit. Huey is trying to spin this as expected. He's blaming the amount of practice time, etc. etc. Even after the bye week, he won't be what the Raiders had in mind when they got him. So I would like to thank the Raiders organization for making my dreadful owner look like freaking Einstein today.
