Bobbie Williams is back!

Prepare to be Run Over Opposing Defense

The Question is who do we drop when Bobbie Williams Comes back???

I was thinking------> Otis Hudson

My Take: Let Hudson go and when he clear waivers bring him on the PS

Another two is Rivers, and Pacman Jones

Who do we let go when they both come back, do we let go of Skuta or Vincent Rey, who contributes in ST???

And when Jones come back, is Miles gonna have to leave, who is gonna be on ST????

The problem is our ST, its going to affect our ST a lot more than our D.....

And i think our team is CRAZY On D

I Havent Heard Anything About Brandon Johnson.....Is He even getting some playing time now??

When Rivers and Moch comes back its gonna be Crazy keep all of our LB's in Tact,

Rey Mualuaga, Thomas Howard,Manny Lawson,Keith Rivers,Brandon Johnson, Dontach Moch, Dan Skuta

the odd man out is Vincent Rey, Sowie Rey, thanks for all the ST contriubutions you have given this Team

it’s not like our st is lights out right now, my choices would be miles and skuta on D and Hudson on O, but I’d be willing to bet they sign Balmer too, then I’d say Rucker would be lost to numbers

we betta not sign Balmer, That dood quit on the 9ers thats y he got traded to Seattle for a 6th and he was a 1st round pick

Rucker has been producing and why get another DT when Rucker and Fanene Can play everywhere on the D-line

I say

drop Rivers and Miles and put Otis on PS. Rivers just been avg for us. Thought he would bring alot more. Think Rey needs time to show his stuff we have seen what Rivers brings.

Rivers has been solid

He is no superstar LB, but there’s nothing saying he should be kicked to the curb. His problem has been injuries and right now he’s got an uphill battle to regain his place in the lineup. Maybe we can trade him for a pick from a team that is in need of a good LB. My guess would be the Patriots. He would be very good for them, and Bilichick always has some picks laying around for such things.

how long are we going to milk the broken jaw incident?

the only defense I see Rivers working out in is possibly a 3-4 where he can play inside with his decent coverage skills. WIth Lawson and Howard, the only value he provides us is trade bait. Possibly even the Steelers to replace Farrior…

Who do we cut?

Williams = Roland. Roland has been a waste of a roster spot for years. I don’t think he could block my daughter and she is 2.

Rivers = Rey. Yes Rey has been solid on ST but Rivers has been solid for the D. Adding him is just a bonus. Could Moch go to ST?

Moch = Miles. Miles good on ST but replaceable.

Jones = ?. I’m really not thrilled hes coming back I guess Trent or Jennings these 2 are not really playing very much. Would like to see Jones go before the other 2.

Fortunately, Moch is already on our Active Roster.

He’s already on the 53, so we won’t need to cut anyone for him. He practiced and played in the first preseason game (where he got injured), and so was ineligible for PUP. This meant we either had to cut/waive him, place him on IR (this may also have needed a waiving, I’m not sure), or keep him on the 53.
With this in mind, Miles is probably cut for Jones. On game day actives, Mays or Sands will probably be added for ST contributions (whichever is better of the two) and for a backup safety. If Jones plays anywhere near as good as he was playing last year, then he’ll be a major upgrade for nickleback, and could easily push for a starting spot.
And as for cutting Roland, I thought about this, liked the thought, then wrote it off, because our coaches seem to love the guy too much (and I don’t know why). I still think Peerman might get cut when Williams gets back, unless we keep him to take the load if/when Benson gets his suspension. We might also see a return of Stephens in exchange for McGlynn.
If Peerman is kept, we’ll have a tough choice to make, but will probably cut Miles or Rey sooner until we know more about the suspension (or lack of).

Why do people want to get rid of Rivers all of a sudden?

He is a good LB and people want to get rid of him instead of skuta or VR? If Muck and rivers were healthy to start, those two wouldn’t be on the team. Now that would be a LB core for this year and years to come.

I think the Hudson project is coming to an end. We can’t have that many guards on the roster. I would rather see Roland go, and get Collins activated on gameday but don’t think that will happen. and I don’t know what to say about pacman. I am very interested to see how long it takes for him play like he can. Will it take half the season? if so I’m not sure I want him then.
