Credit Union Wants Adam Jones' Wages Garnished

Stay connected for news and updates

According to The Cincinnati Enquirer, an attorney representing Southeast Financial Federal Credit Union, which is located in Nashville, has filed documents with Hamilton County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert Ruehlman asking for Bengals cornerback Adam Jones' wages to be garnished.

According to the attorney, Jones owes $36,042.29 and has not payed. It is unclear why Jones owes the money at this point.

This is not the first time that we've reported on the Bengals being ordered to garnish Jones' wages. In December of 2010, the team garnished Jones' wages for a $218,632 Bentley that Jones agreed to lease for a five year term starting in September of 2005. He made the payments until March 2008 but then stopped paying. He also owed $58,000 for repairs that needed to be made on the Bentley.

It's unclear what Jones owed $36 thousand for and why he hasn't payed but we will inform you as more information becomes available to us.

Jones is on PUP list with an injured neck and is also due in court on Nov. 17 after misdemeanor charges were filed against him for resisting arrest and public and disorderly conduct in July.
