Former Bengals Players Workout For The Jacksonville Jaguars
According to Aaron Wilson of Scout.com, two former Cincinnati Bengals players were among 14 that worked out this week in Jacksonville; quarterback Dan LeFevour and safety Tom Nelson. Nelson was featured during Hard Knocks in 2009 as an undrafted free agent that made the squad, playing 12 games during his rookie season and posting 25 tackles with an interception. Nelson dealt with injuries and an illness that kept him out of eight game during his follow up season in 2010.
Former Bengals quarterback Dan LeFevour, drafted in the sixth round by the Chicago Bears and acquired by Cincinnati off waivers in early September 2010, spent the entire 2010 season on the 53-man roster, inactive during game days as the emergency quarterback behind quarterbacks Carson and Jordan Palmer. LeFevour completed with Jordan as the team's third-string quarterback during training camp and the preseason before the team decided to just drop both quarterbacks and go with second-round selection Andy Dalton and free agent signing Bruce Gradkowski.
