Cedric Benson came back from his one-game suspension in Nashville and took the bulk of the carries in the Bengals win over the Titans in Week 9. Some thought that due to Bernard Scott's performance in Seattle that the two running backs would split carries, but that wasn't the case. Scott only carried the ball seven times.

Jermaine Gresham missed his second game of the season but both Donald Lee and Colin Cochart filled in nicely. Other than the five usual starters on the offensive line, Dennis Roland was the only lineman that saw any action.
