You did it Bengals fans. You. Did. It. After being nominated earlier this week, Bengals rookie quarterback Andy Dalton was named the Pepsi NFL Rookie of the Week for Week nine. This was Dalton's fourth nomination this year, finally winning it after completing 22 of 39 passes for 217 yards passing and three touchdowns during Cincinnati's week nine 24-17 win over the Tennessee Titans. The award is based on the fan vote, so good job getting Dalton the award.
Other nominations for this week's award includes Washington Redskins running back Roy Helu -- 14 passes for 105 yards receiving and ran the football 10 times for 41 yards rushing. Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones -- three receptions for 131 yard receiving and two touchdowns. Dallas Cowboys running back DeMarco Murray -- 139 yards rushing and 22 carries. Arizona Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson -- returned a punt 99 yards for a touchdown in overtime to give Arizona the win. Peterson also posted an interception and three tackles.
