PFF's top AFC N QB by accuracy percentage is...

drum roll please.... Andy Dalton!! Pro Football Focus has a signature stat called "Accuracy Percentage". This is a "fixed" version of the generic completion percentage. They remove all the drops, throwaways, and spikes to trim it down to only the passes that were aimed at a receiver and not blatantly dropped by said receiver. The #1 QB in the league in this stat (like in every other ever) is Aaron Rodgers, but the top AFC North QB, and in fact top AFC QB overall, is our very own Andy Dalton. He ranks 5th in the NFL with an accuracy percentage of 72.4 and #1 in the AFC. It doesn't show every QB, but it does rank the worst in the league, which is where you'll find another AFC North QB... Joe Flacco. The wunderkind of the Baltimore Thugs is ranked 32nd out of 36 qualifying QBs. For the best individual game of the year, once again Aaron Rodgers is #1 thanks to his 24/25 effort against the Vikings. The 2nd most accurate game this season by any QB in the NFL came in week 6 when Andy Dalton faced off against the Indianapolis Colts and completed 25 out of 28, not counting the 4 drops, for an adjusted completion percentage of 90.63. Now you might say "Yeah, but that was the Colts..." That is true, but 8 other QBs faced the Colts including Roethlisberger, Schaub, Brees, and Ryan and none were as accurate as Dalton. I don't know about you guys, but I say we keep him.
